Following are a second set of handmade cards inspired by Maggie Holmes’ Woodland Grove collection. This is one of many scrapbooking collections produced by American Crafts.

The focal of these cards are the wild animal ephemera: zebra and cheetahs. I found these items fun for a child’s birthday or masculine card and in the case of one, an added sincere sentiment.

Simple layering of ephemera, color palettes kept consistent and only minimal embellishments made these cards easy to put together.

Tip: Ephemera and stickers can be cut and reconfigured for any design as in the case of the flying cranes featured on two of these cards.
